About us
GALLATE LLC is a small company in the Memphis area. We build MyYardPro, where homeowners book yard work at an honest price, and YardWork.pro, where local pros get those jobs for far less than other apps charge.

Say what you need, pick how soon and see the price. We recommend a local pro with their reviews and the day they can come, and you book them or ask for someone else. The price never goes above the cap you saw without your OK.

YardWork.pro
Work without running a business. We bring the jobs, you do the work, and customers pay you directly. No fees while we launch, and only a small one after.

Three more sites are on the way, one per trade, in this order. Each works like the two above: its own front door for homeowners, the same pros-first rules behind it, a price you can trust up front and the same small fees.
First
Pressure washing
The closest thing to yard work: outdoors, a visit to your home, and a price from a few answers (the surface, roughly how big it is, a before photo). Pros who already offer it as one of their own services move straight onto it.

Car detailing
The pro comes to your driveway, so booking, pricing and paying work exactly as they do for the yard. You tell us the vehicle size, interior or exterior or both, and add a photo of its condition.

Licensed trades
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and similar, in whatever order Memphis asks for them. Every pro's licence and insurance is verified before they take a job, and instead of a price range up front you pay a fixed call-out fee and get a quote on site.

- Honesty is the product. People use us because they can trust the price, the time and the status. We show uncertainty as uncertainty and never hide a fee.
- Both sides are customers. A change that helps a homeowner by burdening a pro is incomplete, and the reverse. The marketplace only works if both feel respected.
- Ask less, show more. Every question we ask has to change the outcome. Otherwise we don't ask it.
- Calm by default. Nothing flashes or demands attention unless a decision is needed.
Where we are
We're starting in Collierville and Germantown, Tennessee (ZIPs 38017, 38138 and 38139). The rest of the Memphis area, Memphis included, follows as pros sign up there. We'd rather be excellent in one metro than thin across ten.
About the name
It's a point of view, not a policy. A lot of skilled, well-paid work never needed a degree, and the people who do it deserve tools built for them. That's who we build for. Nothing against college; it just isn't the only road, and we think the other roads should pay properly too.
How the business works
Customers pay their pro directly, by the method the pro chose. We charge pros nothing today and we never hold anyone's money. If that ever changes, our terms change first and we'll say so plainly, on both sites.
